We're left with 3 more days till it’s the New Year. This year was
hectic; I had so many ups and downs which taught me a lot. Like a lot. It also kind
of changed me (??) Yeah. Like from me leading people to do things till I learnt
how to be a follower.
I also met a lot people. I made new friends. Some of my new friends are
really good and some are just ...bad. Besides having new friends, my old
friends? Well, some stayed and some left. I mean, it is difficult to
stay. We all have different schedule and we are always trying to keep up with
each other.
Okay, let’s add pictures to make this post alive and go back in time :-)
This will be a pretty long post but I'll sum up 5 great things that happened in
my 2015.
1. I started my year by having a job. My job was surprisingly fun. I worked in that industry for almost a year. :'-)
When part-timers weren't given uniform to wear / Big Box were just few months old :'-)

Then, the company wanted somebody brave and loud to do publicity of their items.
Working as a retail associate is pretty interesting. I faced a lot of different challenges every day and I have to settle it myself. That is when work gets fun! Sadly, I leave this job scope because I want to spend more time on my studies and get more rest for the weekends. I also want to spend more time with my family. However, this 'times' that I wanna spend requires...money. I think I'll find a new job next year. Maybe 4fingers?
2. Then I received my O level results. Oh my goodness, I can remember clearly how it went. I put on my uniform and hoped that will be the last time I am wearing it and I also put on my Student Councillor tie. My hair was still very short, so I put on a little wax to look decent. I left the house with my dad since my mum could not make it for that day.
When I received my results slip, I did not bother asking how well my
friends did. I left the hall and head straight to my dad and my little brother. I cried. My results showed that I might not have the brightest future with D for my Maths and Science. I begged my dad to leave the school as I see a lot of my friends jump with joy, hugging and tearing up with happiness. I am scared I am questioned about my results. So I leave the school.

Here you go, this is my result slip :'-)
I'll skip to the part when the JAE (Joint Admission Exercise) Results were released. This was when I felt so depressed. I was not being posted to any Polytechnic. I WAS NOT BEING POSTED TO ANY POLYTECHNIC. I can't imagine myself being in ITE. (Well, I can but...) I can't imagine myself working for life and depend on my shitty O level results. I became desperate. I need to be in polytechnic regardless of what course. I went through a roller coaster ride. I applied different types of exercise - JPSAE and DAE.
Then, finally I received an e-mail from Republic Polytechnic. (The wait was so long that I checked my e-mail every 2 hours every day).
:'-)
I then begged for teachers to write in for me. I searched all of my certificates. I did research about the course.

My favourite teacher wrote this for me. I think I should really thank her I made it this far!
And yes, I got enrolled to Republic Polytechnic. (All Praises to Allah!)
3. Year 1 Semester 1. Being an RP student was fun. I really love their systems here. Not much of lectures and a lot of classroom based. But being a DOAL student, was surprisingly fun! I have a lot of rowdy and very loud classmates. That made lessons fun!

Taken at...........Sungei Buloh for Environmental Education module.
Pulau Ubin, our second home!

Week 13: Formal Attire for presentation.
4. I am confident being in the water! Surprisingly, I had to bring this up because, this was one of my greatest fear. After 17 years, I am finally not afraid to jump in the water! Well, this is something important that I have to conquer since I am in this course.

This pool is really deep. Honestly I am not a good swimmer. I can say I am a weak swimmer. I need my PFD to be in the pool hehe.
Week 7 of Water Based Module ft my classmate for Sem 2: Ow yes, kayaking! I am really dark. And cheers to another 6 more weeks of more kayak and adventure!
5. Amirul. Really? Oh yes. I am actually quite afraid to type this as he might be the most special thing happened this year. But we all would not know when he will be taken away or just...leave right? Let's just appreciate and cherish all the very special times! "Enjoy while it last" they say. (not literally, but yeah)
This is Amirul. I would not say LOML but he is someone that I really love and would love to keep for the next years. Well he is the one I have been talking about in my previous post. Honestly, we are just dating, we're not even together. But I really love him so much.
Amirul is smart, rude, funny and lazy. He can be really sweet, and that were the times I got to appreciate him in my life. He can be really rude, and that were the times I learnt to stand up for myself, do not take things in so easily and learn to fight back. He can be really funny, and that is when I started to grew feelings for him.
He is different.

Is it him holding my hands?
I feel things between me and him are slowly going to be different. I am really afraid, Amirul. I am just hoping the best. If things were to change, I just hope it will be better. If things were to be different, I just hope it is the best for me and him.
Well, basically, these 5 things were the highlights of my 2015. There were many more like I am no longer a nuisance to my parents, riding the two roller coasters in USS, I did not get accepted as a YTSA Junior Exco Member, my GPA for Y1S1 is just 2.4, knowing some of my coursemates were two-faced, hanging out with my favourite people after school although we're not in the same class and I am now picking up gym as my second hobby.
A lot of things in my life happened for a reason. Ups and downs, laughter and tears and lessons after lessons. 2016 is just going to be another year, I am not going to expect for more neither nor for less. Let's hope to be a better person, daughter and a student. Achieve for great grades, look forward to overseas trips and create better friendship with my coursemates. And of course, I am looking forward to being legal - watching M18 movies, applying for license and just get a pack of cigarettes maybe?
Good luck.
